Converging Universes: A New Beginning for the Blanc String Orchestra

This evening at 8.30pm in the church of Chievolis, and tomorrow at 6.00pm in Tramonti di Sopra, the Blanc String Orchestra officially launches a project that is especially close to our hearts: Converging Universes.

It’s hard to express the joy I feel in seeing this journey finally take shape. Converging Universes is a project about connection – encounters between different worlds, languages drawing closer and listening to one another. It was born from a desire to create something genuine, uniting music, places and community.

We are honoured to be guests of the Blanc European Festival – the very festival that gave life to all of this.Two years ago, with vision and courage, it planted the first seed of an orchestra-in-residence project. Today, that spark has grown into a vibrant musical reality, with ambitious projects and a voice of its own.

Converging Universes has also come to life thanks to the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the local councils who welcome us with warmth and enthusiasm.

For our young String Orchestra, these first two concerts are much more than just events – they mark the beginning of a new season, a pivotal step on a path built with passion, study, and shared purpose.
