Sgrìoban Dìomhair (Mystic Trails) represents a personal exploration of sound and scenery, drawing inspiration from the untamed beauty of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. While on a creative residency, I traversed secluded paths, captured the sounds of nature, and let those encounters influence each musical piece.

The program combines solo cello with field recordings of the ocean, wind, and wild animals, crafting a collection of sonic postcards. Each piece captures a moment of stillness, wonder, or discovery.
